While we were in WA, another park that we took the kids to is on Lake Whatcom. We used to go there ALL THE TIME in the summers growing up. It's quite different now...........there used to be a large H shaped dock and another dock, farther out, with a high dive on it......now there is nothing..........no docks, no life guard and hardly any people. It used to be totally packed every time we went. They even used to have a snack bar there, which I don't think they use anymore. They do have a playground there, but it just feels like the kids these days will miss out on all the fun we used to have there.
