Daisy's new chew toys

Forget about all the chew toys, animals, ropes and bones we got Daisy to chew on.........she'd rather chew on the kids toys.....

then when I took the toy away from her she noticed the sippy cup there and she must be able to get some of the milk out, because now she LOVES to chew on sippy cups! The boys just throw there's down where ever.......and Daisy usually finds them...............it seems like there are now A LOT of lids with bite marks on them!....................Oh, she likes chewing on furniture too......the coffee table, the buffet, etc...........You've got to keep an eye on her........she piddles in the house still too...............and jumps up on the boys when she wants to play.......witch FREAKS them out. She was just doing it tonight while the kids were playing outside and poor Carter was screaming bloody murder.

A Berry Good Snack

My kids just LOOOOOOOOVE berries. They were having raspberries and strawberries for a snack the other day and kept wanting more and more and more.......

Thanksgiving - Dinner

everyone's sitting down and getting ready for dinner.......the boys are already digging in

They both ate really well and wanted seconds!

After dinner Carter wanted me to hold him........but as a typical Mom, I was the last one to sit down, so I was still eating

It took some coaxing, but Carter had a great time snuggling and playing with Papa

Thanksgiving - Making the Pie

The girls were helping me make a cherry pie........We were going to make a pumpkin pie, but Papa had already gotten one.

Taking Daisy for a Walk

Roman came home from work early one day last week, so we decided to take the kids and Daisy for a walk. It was the first real walk Daisy had gone on........she wasn't sure about the whole leash thing.........she kept biting it and wouldn't go anywhere.......Roman kept having to pick her up and carry her.

Sidney's Preschool Feast

Sidney's preschool did a little Thanksgiving performance and had a feast that the families were invited to. Sidney's class were dressed as the Indians and the other preschool class was dressed as the pilgrims.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. We did! It was a long process and a group effort and it turned out great! I took lots of pics and my Mom took some video. Both the camera and the video camera cards are full. (I've got to figure out how to delete some off of the video camera......I guess some reading of the manual will be in order.......I knew it had to come some time.)
I think we're going to take the kids (and maybe the puppy) out for some fresh air. I will try to post during nap time.

Our Very Unexciting Family Dinner

We switched things around again, since we are making Thanksgiving dinner, my Step-Dad offered to make dinner this week instead of us....... Well, the kids are all sick......we were debating whether to go or not.......I was going to stay home with Sidney as she felt like she was going to get sick......it kind of reminded me of that scene in a movie where the Dad, I think it was Steve Martin, says "Do you want to throw up" and the little girl says "ok" and throws up all over him......Sidney really wanted to go though and play with her cousins. Sidney fell asleep in the car and knowing that she wasn't feeling well (and probably wouldn't eat dinner anyway, as she hadn't eaten all day) I decided to let her sleep.......Roman took the boys and Daisy in and I stayed in the car with Sidney.......It's times like these when I think I should leave a magazine or something in the car.....I'm combing through my purse, trying to find something to keep me occupied........my sister came out and sat in the car and chatted with me about the upcoming holidays. Eventually dinner was ready.......Roman was busy with the boys, so Jenn brought me out a plate of food. No sooner had I finished eating, when Roman comes back out with the boys....I guess they were being very crabby and throwing fits the whole time and didn't eat........so we went home. Of course Sidney woke up just as we were leaving Grandma and Papa's house. The kids seemed happy to be home and even enjoyed their bath!
Now, if we could just get all three kids to go to bed at a decent hour we would be sitting pretty........Cameron is really congested and not feeling well, so he kept crying and wanting to be rocked............then Carter keeps peeking around the corner of his crib, with smiling eyes.........."go to sleep honey".........again, Mommy went to bed way too late, and woke up at 5:30am and couldn't go back to sleep. You would think that I would have gotten some things done.......I had good intentions, but I was playing with Daisy and started watching Season 2 of Dawson's Creek (and am icing my back again)......I'm realizing that I didn't see as much of this show as I thought I did......I'm kind of addicted now! So hopefully in my sleep deprived state I have made some sense here......I will try to read this again later and make any necessary corrections.
