Kendall's Birthday

This past weekend was my niece's birthday. Roman took Sidney over early to play with her cousins, as the boys were still sleeping. When we got there all the kids were in the pool and they all love the slide in it!

We brought their swim trunks and swim diapers, but Auntie said that we were going to eat soon.....the boys just kept heading for the pool though, so we just stripped them down and let them go in. Here Carter is blowing kisses to Grandma.

Here's Sidney and the birthday girl with some of her friends

They just love the water and want to go in any chance they get

Cameron is trying to climb the slide, but it's kind of slippery.....he did a face plant into it, but with Mommy's help both boys were able to climb up the slide and try going down into the water.....they didn't know what to make of it at first.

Of course, the boys favorite part of the evening (after going swimming) was.................the BALLOONS!!!!

I'm amazed at Carter knowing how to keep grabbing the string higher up to bring the balloons down to him.

The boys love, Love, LOVE balloons................we could just get them balloons for their birthday and they would probably be happy.

There goes Cameron, chasing after Carter and the balloons

and back up the hall.......

"Hey Daddy, check out these cool balloons I have!"

"Can we take them home?"

He was perfectly content to just walk around with the balloons...........but he was not going to let go of them for even a second!

The girls favorite part of the evening?.............................BARBIE!!!!!

The new Barbie Movie......."Barbie and the Diamond Castle" just came out and Kendall got both of the main character dolls from the movie and when you put their hands together they sing the song from the movie.

Here's the birthday girl with one of them.

Here's Sidney with the other one saying "Come on Kendall, let's go play with them." Sidney was having a hard time at first, not understanding why she wasn't getting anything and Madeline REALLY wanted to play with one of the barbies too, but Auntie (her Mom), told her to let Sidney play with it and then after Sidney went home she could play with it when ever she wanted too. Thank you Auntie..........otherwise I would have had one very upset little girl crying in my lap. Now guess what Sidney wants for Christmas? She has the movie also and watches it every day since we got it............sometimes twice a day!

Sidney finally has the doll all to herself and is checking it out

"Ok Kendall, you take this one and this one and I'll have this one and this one."

They have them all set up now

Here they are, in their own little world, playing together.

Now it's time to do the cake!

Kendall likes her princess cake and check out her shirt.........it says "what part of PRINCESS don't you understand?"

Uncle Jason is teaching Carter about fire..........(I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing?)

helping Kendall blow out her candles....

Uncle Jason's pretty funny...............he's pretty goofy and makes all these funny noises. Here he's trying to distract the cranky boys while they wait very impatiently for their cake and ice cream.

Cameron is snuggling with Papa...............he's had enough .....(I don't think he ever did get those balloons away from Carter.)
