My brother James and his wife Melissa came up with his girls this past weekend for the cousins to see each other and just for some family time. The boys are still warming up to him.....
We decided to all go out the cemetery......................my Dad is looking at headstones for Susan and we all wanted to pay our respects. My Grandma "Mima" to the kids, is in the the same cemetery too, actually pretty close to wear Susan is burried, so it was nice to show our love to both.
The boys were having fun with all of the things left at some of the headstones............there is actually quite a lot on some of them. It was somber but it was a nice breath of fresh air with their youthful curiosity and zest for life.
We love you and miss you dearly Susan.....................I still cry every time I think about you and hope you know how much you truely meant to our family.
Last year was a very difficult year with losses in our family.........now she is at peace with our Grandfather whom she loved with all of her heart. You could see it in her face any time she talked about him. We only knew him for a short while, but we loved him too.
We tried to get all seven grandkids together again for an updated picture, but the boys weren't really cooperating.
