Up at The Glen

My Aunt & Uncle have had a trailer up in Maple Falls for 30+ years! I swear I spent half of my childhood up there : ) We would go up for overnighters with our cousins & swim in the pool, ride bikes, skip rocks in the river, play in the forest for hours........remember when it was just "come back before it gets dark?" That's what we did, hours and hours of running around!

Sitting around the campfire, the kids all love making smores, but we didn't have any of the supplies, so they were just burning their sticks.

The kids were loving running around in the trees and playing really well together, so the adults actually got a little time to talk.

Uncle James is an expert at getting the fire going.

Ahhhh, this is the life! They made us some delicious salmon on the BBQ too. It was so nice to see more family.

As it was getting darker and cooler the kids came inside and were all playing with theirs/their parents ipods and phones...........such techies!
