It took some convincing, as Roman was very anxious to get to Chelan, but my Aunt & Uncle were very persistent and we got to spend two wonderful days at their beautiful cabin right on the river.
The kids loved it from the second they got there.
They headed straight to the water.
It's SO amazingly beautiful & peaceful there!
They were even going in the freezing cold water!
Just one cabin over another river meets the Cowlitz river in front of their cabin.

Mt. Rainier was SO clear.....this picture just doesn't do it justice. 
The kids have all slept together on the trip up.....it's so funny how they sleep & what they can sleep through. After a fun day of play, they were crashed out.

Then of course, we have to get a family photo in : )Daisy even LOVED it there. We let her off the leash and she would go out and explore, but stay close too. She only checked out the water a little, as it was quite cold.....but she did make us aware of a couple of elk across the river at dusk. I was staring right at them for quite awhile, because she was looking, with ears perked, and didn't even see them until they moved.
