Grocery Store Tour

This year Sidney's class went on quite a few field trips......I like going on them, seeing what she's doing and watching her get excited about things and playing with her friends.

One trip was a very detailed, fun grocery store tour.


They got to go in the back and see where they cut all the meat up (Boy, was I glad I kept my coat on. Brrrrrr!)

they got to go back and see where they bake the cookies, and taste some meat & cheese from the deli.

and learned more about fruits and veggies.....

the kids always love the "rain"

they even had a health clinic in this grocery store and the kids got a goodie bag with colors & a coloring book on health, a ruler, bandaids and some other cool stuff.

They got a flower and a balloon from the floral department too, and a little bag of cookies......there was no need for lunch after leaving our tour.

We went back to the class to check out all the goodies they had gotten and let them get some energy out. It was fun : )
